OK, last action today. I’ve been in Glashütte to do some mapping (Glashütte, Breitenbrunnen, Unterstmatt, Glashütte). The new boots still cause some painless points at my feet, but only at one particular point above the ankle of the right foot. Friends of mine recommend to buy some special socks like Falke socks. Will try it for sure.
The trip was windy, and there was less sun. I enjoyed it anyway, regardless of the troubles the new boots currently cause. They currently hurt, yes. But they also fit my feet very well so I’ll give some reasonable socks a try. Thanks Karin and Frank for the input so far!
