Michelskopfsee
I’m just back from a small holiday trip. I had the occasion to try out a some mountain bikes for the very first time in my life. The bikes have been very good, so climbing some hills was just plain fun.
The places I visited all have been around Kaufungen, an old medieval town embedded in some hilly landscape. There are some (artificial) lakes at the Michelskopf, an old basalt quarry which invites for swimming:

There are still some residential areas missing around the train station of the town:
If noone else maps it until christmas, it is likely that I’ll be the one who will complete it :) .
